Hi church family,
I am writing today to update you with the latest information on our church's response to COVID 19. We are
carefully monitoring this situation and are prayerfully trying to do what's best to protect those who are
most vulnerable in our church family and in the community at large. In keeping with the latest guidelines
offered by our President of limiting groups to 10 or less, we are suspending all services at First Baptist
Church Norris through April 1. In the meantime, we will be having online Sunday Services at 10am and 6pm on
Facebook and possibly one other medium. I will keep you posted. The Deacons and I will be meeting Wednesday
evening, April 1, to re-evaluate the situation and determine our next steps. We ask you to pray for your
pastor, staff, and deacons as we lead during these uncertain days. However, even though the days are
uncertain, be rest assured that our hope in Christ is very certain. He is in charge, and He will be glorified.
In these times of uncertainty, fear, and panic, we must remain steadfast knowing that in Christ we have
certainty, peace, and hope. Now is not the time to retreat, but to advance with the life-saving, life-changing
gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Please be on the lookout for further updates.
You are welcome to join us.
